Discover the Croz dell’Altissimo Refuge, located at 1480 meters above sea level in Val delle Seghe, at the foot of the majestic southwest wall of Cima Croz dell’Altissimo, along the main access route to the eastern side of the Brenta Group. Built in 1962 by the parents of Felice Spellini, it is now lovingly managed by his son Nicola, thus maintaining a family tradition. This refuge was created to offer you hospitality, comfort, and warmth.

Easily reachable in a day, it is the ideal place to enjoy a typical Trentino lunch. You can savor genuine dishes made with natural products from the area, such as canederli, polenta with mushrooms, sausages, and melted cheese.

For breakfast, a snack, or to beautifully conclude your meal, choose from our homemade cakes and the famous apple strudel.

Do you want to experience something unique? You can stay overnight at the refuge and rediscover the beauty of sleeping immersed in unspoiled nature. Away from the city lights and daily hustle, you can admire the Dolomite peaks turning red at dawn, enjoy a starry sky, and breathe in the scents and colors of the forest.

The Croz dell’Altissimo Refuge has 18 beds, making it ideal for those who wish to set off early in the morning for a hike in the Brenta Dolomites. The rooms have shared bathrooms, so it is advisable to book in advance.
