Pradel Bear

Harmony Between Man and Nature

In the heart of Molveno, amidst the majestic Dolomites of Brenta, a new and powerful symbol of connection with nature has been born: The Bear of Pradel. This imposing sculpture, created by the artist Martalar, is much more than a work of art; it represents a profound message of balance and respect between man and the environment that surrounds him.

Standing 6 meters tall and 8 meters long, The Bear of Pradel dominates the landscape, crafted from 2,000 pieces of larch root collected from areas affected by the devastating Vaia storm of 2018. The sculpture is an extraordinary example of land art, born from the collaboration between the Municipality of Molveno and the Pradel Cable Car Company, and it represents the largest wooden bear in the world.

Located in the Tof dell’Ors area, at the entrance of trail 340bis, The Bear of Pradel invites visitors to reflect on the delicate balance between man and wildlife. This majestic wooden guardian is easily accessible thanks to the “La Panoramica” cablecar and the “Pradel – Palon di Tovre” chairlift.

Come and discover The Bear of Pradel, a work that embodies the beauty and fragility of nature, and that reminds us of the importance of respecting and protecting our environment. Let yourself be inspired by the grandeur of this sculpture and the message of harmony it conveys.

The Bear of Pradel awaits you, ready to tell you its story and offer you a unique experience between art and nature.
